Your description of yourself is pretty much spot on as to how I would describe myself. Although recently I have been told, “I don’t want to be with someone who marches to the beat of their own drummer” – This was actually probably the most hurtful thing ever said to me. But we have to march to the beat of our inner drummer – if we change for another then we stop being who we are.
